How can we protect our water resources?
The only way we can live in the arid regions of Southern California is by importing water. It takes a lot of energy and is very expensive to do this. Water is a limited, precious resource and we must recycle it. To just use this expensive imported water once and then dump it into the ocean is a waste of resources.

Eric is a member of Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s Pure Water Working Group. Eric was selected 3 years ago to represented private industry stakeholders (builders, architects, engineers, contractors, and environmental consultants) and provided input for the efforts to turn recycled water into potable water that can be reused in homes and businesses.
Potable reuse and desalinization represent the future for reducing our dependence on imported water.
