Dear Voter

Dear OMWD Voter:

My wife and I are long-time residents of our District. We are now empty nesters with three adult children. I am very concerned and passionate about insuring and diversifying our water supply. Water is a basic need for a healthy society. It is something that many of us take for granted. I know we cannot rest on our laurels and I want to offer my expertise to benefit our District and leave this wonderful area we live in a better and more sustainable place than we found it.

How do I do that?  Our current Board of Directors are nice people, but none of them have the hands-on professional engineering expertise in the transport, storage, treatment and most importantly, reuse of our precious water resources. I have the private industry experience of running a profitable engineering consulting business for the past 25 years and I’m a sought after expert on how to cost effectively manage water resources. I want to put that experience to work for you!

Having someone with my experience on the OMWD Board will ensure our District doesn’t make expensive mistakes as new technologies come to the market.  Additionally, having a Board member who can “speak the language” with District staff and ask the right questions can benefit all of us as ratepayers.

I ask that you give me a chance to make our District even better. I’ll be accessible and accountable to you. I ask for your vote.
